I'm very careful. And even then sometimes I have to rip out the stitching and start over.

I had heard that with some Twilight custom-made things the mane colors get all mixed up with each other sometimes when you move her around or something. Does that even happen with this one?

If not, then it makes it EVEN BETTER

Unless you're shaking and throwing her around, it shouldn't.

Only a bit, as fast as I type.

One of my big pet peeves on dA is when you take the time to write a nice, thoughtful comment or critique on a piece and the artist totally ignores it without thanking or any acknowledgement whatsoever for the effort.

And then some of them actually have the nuts to whine about how everyone favs and runs and no one comments anymore.

I know that feel bro. I reply to everything, even on Youtube, but that's... much more difficult, but for different reasons.

And I've always wondered about the whining thing. I mean, I've become paranoid of it so I don't favorite something unless I can comment. But that's a problem because I'm so bad at commenting a lot. I feel that whatever I say has already been said a bunch, or it's saying stuff that the artist already knows is in the piece because that's why they did it.

Awesome job on TS, her styled mane looks amazing and the cutie mark looks so well done!

A question on using fabric paint for the cutie mark, and you can choose not to answer, but do you find that using fabric paint for the cutie marks holds up well to general handling? I'm making the ponies in my own personal style to sell at a con and I've been going back and forth between using fabric paint or felt for their cutie marks. I would really like to use the fabric paint since I hate felt but I fear the paint would crack and peel off. Have you ever had that issue with the fabric paints?

Thanks for commenting! :icontwilightlaplz:

As I mentioned in the description, I use Tulip and Scribbles brand fabric paints. These hold up very well under handling, and nothing has ever cracked or peeled off as long as you shake it well and provide an even coat. At 72 hours after applying it, you can wash the fabric. However, I still warn people that my plushies are not meant for rough play but to be collectibles.

As for felt...it doesn't tend to hold up well at all and just looks cheap, so I don't recommend it.

Thank you so much for the answer!!!! :D

I'll look through my local craft stores and hopefully they carry the same brand of fabric paints. I am ecstatic at the ability to not work with felt, and I would have to use the crappy stuff too since I can't use the good quality felt, allergic to wool. :'(
