One Fine Day on the Chimaera

Description

Inspired by this bit of oddity:

Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Galactic Empire's greatest strategic and tactical mind, secludes himself in his quarters, not to formulate battle plans, not even to study artwork, but to spend quality time with his force-blocking companion, nummy muffin coocol butter, the cutest pet in the galaxy.

Thrawn: ...you didn't see that. :|
Pellaeon: No, Admiral, I didn't see you cuddling and talking baby talk to your ysalamiri again.
C'baoth: Remind me to quit letting you two watch those Mel Brooks movies.

Copyrights at top of strip. :D

A note: The Empire's stormtroopers can't even shoot straight, what makes you think the doorbells on their ships will work?

A note on Thrawn: It was very difficult for me to draw him smiling. Although he also has a major role in a fanfiction a friend and I are working on [link] , even there he's the serious one.

A note on Pellaeon: Before everyone asks, I should point out that the Captain was never described in the Heir to the Empire trilogy as having a mustache. He's also depicted as being clean-shaven in the graphic novel adaptation of such. [link] [link] [link]

...I don't like drawing facial hair on men. I don't like facial hair on men, period. :evileye:

It is an alternate insight in Admiral Thrawns mind we see, and a hilarious one at that. While I am convinved he would never try to hide such a thing from Palleon, if he did not, it would ruin the story.

The visuals are appealing, and detailed, and does not really need to be more then they already are. They suffice for what they need to do. The text is also adequate.

I cannot demand an artist to improve the style simply of a mere Critique, and anybody who tried would be foolish. As such, i find this very appealing, and very funny.
